ABOUT COMPANY
LIONA TEXTILE CONSULTANCY was established by Mr. Mahir Aslan in 2023 to reach closer to the textile industry with consultancy and sourcing services and to share their wide-ranging experience with business partners which are operating in several types of garment production in many parts of the world.
We, as LIONA TEXTILE CONSULTANCY, strongly believe that we can offer an efficient partnership and collaboration to the garment suppliers in both sourcing and consultancy areas.
With the advantage of having features that complement each other, we are aiming to create a constant improvement in garment suppliers that would like to collaborate with us, for all stages of production (product development, cutting, sewing, washing, finishing) by means of consultancy, sourcing and network operations.

MR. MAHIR ASLAN
MSc Textile Engineer
A denim expert at the age of 44 with an experience in textile industry for 22 years
Last 17 years (2006-2023) in H&M Group Turkey Production Office as Denim Responsible and Washing Expert
Prior to H&M (2001-2006) as denim fabric and washing technician in NEXT Turkey Liaison Office for 4 years and as denim washing technician in Mavi Jeans Istanbul Head Quarter for 1 year.
OUR ACHIVEMENTS SO FAR
-Product development for denim and jersey garments
-Transition of all types of products from sampling to bulk production
-Handling sample, pre-production and bulk production stages of all types of products
-Quality control of all types of products based on AQL 1.5 (Single) and giving approval for shipment
-Technical solutions for both manufacturing and washing in sampling and bulk production
-Working as a bridge between the customer (H&M Group brands) and the garment suppliers from sampling to bulk production by means of close and technical communication
-Establishing, implementing and updating customer’s Product Quality Standards in garment suppliers by working closely with their quality assurance organizations
-Creating and driving RQS (Requirement for Quality Systems) and QMS (Quality Management Systems) projects by means of an efficient collaboration with suppliers in management level
-Monitoring and improving efficiency of suppliers by means of KPIs to achieve the customer’s goals for shipment parameters which are best quality, expected quantity and on-time shipment
-Capacity management in garment supplier chain
-Improving capability of garment suppliers in terms of product type, complexity level, sustainability and creativity based on the demand which may come from both the supplier and the customer
-Driving NQC (Nominated Quality Controller) project in garment suppliers and NWT (Nominated Wash Technician) project in denim supplier
-Giving all directions to the customer to ensure the perfect matching of required product and the best supplier
-Sourcing new suppliers based on actual demands for many parameters such as product type, brand quality level, fashion trends, capability, capacity, profitability etc. together with their periodic and analytical evaluations for quality parameters

-Ensuring a constant improvement in both quality level and quality mindset of the garment supplier by setting S.M.A.R.T. goals and achieving them based on relevant KPIs
-Establishing a QMS (Quality Management System) in the garment supplier or improving the current QMS according to the customer’s demands and changing dynamics of the industry
-Developing a rational and efficient quality mindset in all levels of garment supplier’s organization, from top to bottom, based on industrial requirements, customer demands and technical realities
-Executing pre-production checks and meetings, in-line controls and final inspections in the garment supplier for specifically determined orders based on the requirements of the customer (brand) and taking decision to approve/reject the products on behalf of the customer.
PRODUCTION EFFICIENCY
-Measuring the current efficiency level of the garment supplier in all steps of both sampling and bulk production
-Identifying the potential of the garment supplier in terms of efficiency and determining improvement areas of the garment supplier for efficiency
-Improving efficiency of the garment supplier constantly by setting S.M.A.R.T. goals and achieving them based on relevant KPIs in order to ensure that the products meet the last customer on-time, without missing quantity and in expected quality level
-Observing the current Capacity Management (Planning) System of garment supplier, determining improvement areas and ensuring a constant improvement
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
-Making collaboration with garment supplier in creation stage of brand-new collections to be prepared with new fabrics, washes, prints, accessories, etc.
-Finding new solutions to make the washing processes in a sustainable way in product development stage by considering sustainability parameters in washing
-Improving the capability of garment supplier in terms of product type, complexity level, creativity, sustainability, new processes to increase their share in the market both for quantity and endorsement
-Supporting the garment supplier technically by means of the know-how and the network we have about machineries and equipment with new technology, new developed fabric qualities, various types of accessories, high qualified sewing threads, new washing chemicals, etc.
SOURCING AND FACTORY SET-UP
-Sourcing all types of machines which are used in several steps of garment production (cutting, sewing, washing, finishing) with correct price and technical properties based on demand
-Making a market search for a special type of machine or equipment based on a specific request
-Making a market search for new developed fabrics, accessories and trims with a wide range such as sewing threads, lining, buttons, eyelet, all types of metal accessories, labels, lace, sequins, stones, several applications for kids’ products, etc. or we can search for specific demands based on request
-Supporting the garment suppliers (for both sourcing and consultancy) while they are building up new factories, production units, laundries, etc. or transforming their current facilities according to the new technology and demands
-Giving all instructions from A to Z to a garment supplier while building up a new factory by means of not only the intense experience we, the co-founders of LIONA TEXTILE AND CONSULTANCY, have in textile industry but also our ability to collaborate with our sister company LIONA ARCHITECTURE in construction stage of the factories
